Viking Christian Leaders: Integrity

Congratulations to Dulce Chaidez ('21) and Ouray Harper ('21) who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of February under “The Wisco Way Word": Integrity. We thank God for the way Dulce and Ouray have modeled Christian integrity at school and in the community. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leadership Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Dulce is from Milwaukee, Wis. She is a member at St . Peter Lutheran Church and attended St. Lucas Lutheran Grade School.

Currently a junior at Wisco, Dulce has participated in choir (9-10), Prism (10), Page Turners book club, Viking Christian Leaders Academy, has been on the honor roll sophomore and junior years, and is in the College Possible program. Dulce has volunteered at her church singing for worship services. For fun, Dulce enjoys music, drawing/art, and helping others.

After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Dulce plans to attend ROTC through WLC and work towards a degree in Radiology through MATC and WLC, and work part time in real estate.

Dulce characterizes integrity in Christian leadership as "being honor-based. Be a leader by helping others and leading by example. A leader owns up to his or her mistakes."

Ouray is from Milwaukee, Wis. He is a member at Risen Savior where he also attended Risen Savior Lutheran Grade School.

Currently a junior at Wisco, Ouray has participated in basketball (9-11), been on the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy, honor roll, and will be attending the Civil Rights Tour this year.

For fun, Ouray enjoys basketball.

While Ouray has not decided on a college yet, he plans to pursue a degree in entrepreneurship.

Ouray characterizes integrity in Christian Leadership as "living your life by the morals set by God in the Bible. A leader does not try to hide his or her mistakes."
