Viking Christian Leaders: Unity

Congratulations to Joseph Kallies ('22) and Lydia Swezey ('22) who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of September under “The Wisco Way Word": Unity. We thank God for the way Joseph and Lydia have modeled servant leadership at school and in the community. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leadership Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Joseph Kallies is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and he is a member at St. Paul’s in Franklin, where he attended grade school.

In his spare time, Joseph enjoys playing football, going to church with his teammates, and hanging out with friends.

After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Joseph plans to play football in college and major in sports management.

Joseph characterizes unity in Christian leadership as bringing people together as one, no matter who they are, because we are all family in Christ.
