Viking Christian Leaders: Wisdom
Congratulations to Oluwatoyin "Daniel" Fasasi ('23) and Ella Goede ('23), who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of January under “The Wisco Way Word": Wisdom. We thank God for the way Daniel and Ella have modeled servant leadership at school and in the community. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leaders Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Daniel is from Lagos, Nigeria, where he attends Daystar Christian Church in Nigeria. Before coming to Wisco, Daniel went to Chrisland College in Lagos.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Daniel has participated in soccer, track & field, Viking Christian Leaders Academy, and the National Honor Society.
Daniel has also attended the Daystar Leader’s Camp at his church in Lagos.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys hanging out with friends and traveling.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Daniel is considering attending college in America and majoring in finance.
Daniel characterizes wisdom in Christian leadership as being able to make the right and smart decisions in any situation that life throws at you, even in the high pressure situations.
Ella is from Muskego, Wisconsin, and she is a member at Grace Downtown. She attended grade school at Star of Bethlehem in New Berlin.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Ella has participated in volleyball, track, Wisco Kids, the musical, and the fall drama. She has also been a part of Student Council, WWW, and NHS.
Ella has volunteered at her church by organizing the teen group.
In her spare time, Ella enjoys music, spending time outside, hanging with friends, and most important spending time with Cat.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Ella plans on attending UW-Milwaukee for biological sciences.
Ella characterizes wisdom in Christian leadership as looking at things from all perspectives and making a Christ-centered decision.
