The Viking wrestlers' run came to an end at Saturday's Individual Sectional meet at Whitefish Bay, as the team was unable to place a wrestler in the top two of his weight class to earn a state berth. Wisco did have three third-place finishers: Adler Henn, Coen Henn, and Isaiah Flores. All three serve as state alternates.

The Viking wrestling team fell to Brookfield East on Tuesday night by a score of 38-30 in the WIAA Sectional Finals. It was the second straight year the team advanced at least that far, but they were unable to overcome the Spartans. Senior Adler Henn reached a milestone with his 100th career victory.

The Vikings have 13 wrestlers competing for a shot at the Individual State Tournament. Individual Sectionals are this Saturday, February 22, at Whitefish Bay.

The Viking wrestling team won 15 of 16 matches in final round en route to claiming a WIAA Regional Championship for the second consecutive year. In addition the team qualified 13 wrestlers for the individual sectional championships.

The squad boasted six individual champions: Coen Henn, Adler Henn, David Carson, Isaiah Flores, Sammy Bausley, and Alex Sutter. Two wrestlers took second place: Ruben Micheel and Jacob Bonow. Trevion Marks, Nate Doan and Ben Haakenson each placed third. And Jordan Jackson also qualified for sectionals with a fourth place finish.

A strong performance by the Wisco wrestling squad earned them a runner-up finish at Saturday's Woodland Conference Tournament. The Vikings finished just 6.5 points behind champion Pewaukee.

A total of 22 pins on the day was key in the team's high finish. Individual honors went to Ruben Micheel (120) and Aundre Reid (285) who finished third; Coen Henn (106), Isaiah Flores (160), and Alex Sutter (195), who were runners up; and David Carson (113) and Adler Henn (152) who were individual champions.

The Viking wrestlers closed the conference dual season with a 4-1 mark thanks to a resounding 66-9 win over visiting Greendale. Coen Henn, Adler Henn, Amos Weide, and Sammy Bausley all had pins for Wisco.

A 4-1 dual record helped the Wisco wrestling team to a second place finish at the Tosa Duals on Saturday. The Vikings defeated Badger, Portage, Watertown, and Manitowoc Lincoln before falling to Wauwatosa in a tight battle. Adler Henn, Isaiah Flores, and Alex Sutter went undefeated on the day.

Wisco hosts Greenfield on Wednesday for Senior Night. JV wrestling begins at 6:00 PM; varsity matches begin at 7:00 PM.

The Viking wrestling team battled illness and host Pewaukee on Wednesday night, but dropped a conference match to the Pirates, 42-24. David Carson, Amos Weide, and Aundre Reid all had pins for Wisco.

The Viking wrestlers placed 16th overall at the massive 67-team Oshkosh On-the-Water Invitational on December 27-28.

Four Wisco wrestlers placed in the top ten of their respective weight classes. David Carson and Alex Sutter each took ninth, Coen Henn placed seventh, and Aundre Reid was 6th. The rest of the team turned in a great effort, as four wrestlers won three matches each and three more wrestlers won two matches.

The Vikings travel to Pewaukee for a conference match on January 8 at 7:00 PM.

The Wisco wrestling team finished in fifth place at the 16-team Beaver Dam Invitational on Saturday. 

The Vikings boasted three individual champions. Coen Henn, David Carson, and Alex Sutter each won their respective weight class.

The varsity wrestling squad went 3 - 2 at the Hartford Duals on Saturday. The Vikings battled but came up short by 2 points vs. eventual champion Germantown. Aundre Reid was undefeated at 5-0 in the heavyweight division. Coen Henn, David Carson, Adler Henn, Sammy Bausley and Alex Sutter all went 4-1 on the day.

The Viking wrestlers opened their season at the Gunslinger Invitational in Slinger. They placed ninth in a deep 16-team field featuring four of the top 10 Division 1 teams in Wisconsin. David Carson and Alex Sutter both placed third for Wisco.
