2023-24 Boys Varsity Basketball Breaks Records

On January 26, at South Milwaukee High School, Kon II Knueppel ('24) became Wisco's all-time leading scorer in boys' basketball. With the victory that night, Coach Ryan Walz ('92) reached his 300th win as the boys varsity basketball coach. On February 6, at West Allis Central High School, Kon also became the school's all-time leading rebounder. The 2023-24 Viking team has won 19 straight games and has surpassed the 2008-09 state title team for the second-longest winning streak to start a season in school history. Only the 21-0 team of 1965-66 has enjoyed a better start. We congratulate Kon, Coach Walz, and the varsity basketball team on a successful season and cheer them on as they make a run for another state title.
