Riebe ('26) Takes Third in State Wrestling
2024 WIAA Individual Wrestling State Championships were held at the Kohl Center in Madison this past weekend. Congratulations to Izabella Riebe ('26) (235) who won by a pin over Kiley Georgel (Luxemburg-Casco Girls) in 3:28 in the final round taking home third place in Division II at State.
Leah Lawrence ('25) won her first match before moving to the consolation bracket and finished her season by winning one more match. WLHS had five total State qualifiers, three of which participated in the first rounds but did not place. Congrats, wrestlers, on a great season! We're looking forward to what next year brings!
