ACT for ALL Juniors - Tuesday, March 12

Junior students are reminded that they are required to take the ACT on Tuesday, March 12, as a part of their school-day schedule. Juniors should arrive promptly by 7:30 a.m. A limited grab and go breakfast will be available that morning. Students may bring a calculator for the math portion of the ACT; however, if they don't bring one of their own, there will not be one provided for them. Students will not be admitted to the testing rooms after the test has started. Parents, there is no cost. Students should stop by the Student Services Office for information to set up an ACT account as well as receive a test preparation booklet. This is an official ACT test. Scores from this test are necessary for most college applications. Dismissal will be at 12:30 p.m.  Pizza will be served for lunch at no cost to our students.
Test taking tips:
  • Come well rested for the test. Teenagers are recommended to get 8-10 hours of sleep a night.
  • Don't skip breakfast on your test day. Did you know you think better on a full stomach? Make sure to eat a balanced breakfast so you're ready to go.
  • Manage your time wisely! Scan through the test questions, answer the easier ones first, and come back to the questions you may be unsure of. When stuck on a question, eliminate choices you know are incorrect so you can focus on possible correct choices before selecting your answer.
