Alfred's Faith Story
On Saturday, December 10, international student Alfred L. received the blessing of baptism at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Wauwatosa, by Pastor Joshua Yu. May God keep Alfred in his baptismal grace.
Alfred (a sophomore from Xi'an, China) tells us how he came to know Jesus here at Wisco and why he chose to be baptized last week.

"Most people know about that we don’t know very well about Christianity, and government is not allow that happens. I remembered that I read a book called Bible Story when I was a little boy. I was knew nothing about Christianity and I thought that was just a interesting fake story.
When I came to America, and I have a class called Introduction to Christianity. First day, Mr. Ricke gave us a book called Bible and he said all the knowledge we will learn is based on this book. I was like seriously? We learn about fairy tale in this class? Weeks later I thought I was wrong because there are too many history events can prove that God is real and, I started to be more focus on this class.
In the last year the Holy Spirit has already put faith in my heart. So, I wondered to be baptized and this is not bad for me. This is my own faith story."
