  • Transform Lives for Generations

For more than 20 years, the WLHS Foundation has been committed to ensuring that students from all backgrounds can continue to grow and develop academically and spiritually for generations to come.

That commitment shines through in the big ways the WLHS Foundation supports the high school. They provide student scholarship, resources for faculty support, development, and program enhancement, and through investments provide financial stability for the future of the high school.

Each year the WLHS Foundation gives a gift to the high school. That gift has grown from $414,000 in 2018 to now five years later a gift of $650,000. Through this generous gift, the high school is able to support students in need, cover the costs associated with running a school building, and ensure that the teens at WLHS have the best technology, teachers, and resources.

We KNOW that Jesus will come again to take us all home, but for many of us, our time may be before Judgment Day.

the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl . . . In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:13-16).

Recently, I had the opportunity to hear Gov. Mike Huckabee speak on these Bible verses in Matthew 5. God’s command to be salt and light had such significant meaning to him, and as a young teen it changed his life. What a powerful and moving message.

  • The Simple Way to Preserve Your Gift

As another school year comes to an end, God has richly blessed the prior nine months in granting us the opportunity to hear and dive into his word every day. Now students, faculty, and staff have time to recharge their batteries, turn the page, and move on to the next chapter. What a wonderful time to reflect and give praise to him!
