  • Art Camp

    For Coed Students Entering Grades 3-8
    Explore ceramics, tie-dyeing, painting, drawing, and other art materials as you make awesome works of art. Camps will be separated by age group (Grades 3-5 & 6-8) for portions of the day.

    FULL - Grades 3-5: 60 spots maximum
    Grades 6-8: 40 spots maximum

  • Basketball Camp—Girls

    For Girls Entering Grades 1-6
    The goal of this camp is to improve the basketball skills of each camper. Emphasis is placed on individual offensive skills with special attention given to shooting, dribbling, and passing skills.

  • Cheerleading Camp

    For Girls Entering Grades K-9
    Sessions will focus on cheerleading skill development in the areas of jumps, sidelines, cheers, gymnastics, stunting, and dance. Grade level sessions will be held for girls entering grades K-3, 4-6, and 7-9.

    Girls will also have the opportunity to cheer with the WLHS Varsity Cheer Team at a home football game this fall.

    For Boys Entering Grades 5-8
    Camp is designed to introduce the basic skills of tackle football on offense and defense.

    Camp will be held at Wisconsin Lutheran High School.

    Each player will be provided with a helmet, shoulder pads, mouth guard, and a jersey. Players will be divided into groups based upon grades and skill level.

  • Forensics Camp

    For Coed Students Entering Grades 5-9

    SESSION 1: Introduction to Forensics/Public Speaking
    June 24-27, 2024
    9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
    Be Brave, Be Bold, or learn to be! This camp will prepare students for public speaking, whether it be competitive in Forensics or gaining confidence for presentations and class projects. We will explore the category of Demonstration, and learn to put together a fun presentation. Registration for Forensics Camp: Session 1 is due by Monday, June 10, 2024.

    SESSION 2: The Art of Storytelling
    July 15-18, 2024
    9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
    Gain experience and confidence in public speaking by learning about the Forensics Category of Storytelling. Participants will learn the rules of the category, what makes for a good story selection, and will put together a presentation filled with character voices, facial expressions, gestures, and fun! Registration for Forensics Camp: Session 2 is due by Monday, July 1, 2024.

    Cost is $75 per session
    and includes a t-shirt.

    NOTE:
    Sessions may be attended independent of each other. Your child does not have to attend both.

    Students meet at WLHS in Room 175 (Multipurpose Room) each day.

  • Robotics Camp

    For Coed Students Entering Grades 5-9 (all sessions are identical)
    Students in this program will learn how to build and program a robot to compete in a game similar to those used in a high school competition. Participants will learn how to mount motors and servos to run a vehicle.

    FULL - Session 1: June 17-21 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
    5 Spots Left - Session 2: June 24-28
     from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
    FULL - Session 3: July 8-12
    from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

    Students will build their vocal skills (and confidence!) while learning new music and choreography alongside current and former Wisco Kids Show Choir members. A concluding performance will be held on Friday.

  • Soccer Camp

    For Coed Students Entering Grades 4-8
    Soccer camp is an opportunity to build Christian relationships through hard work and competition while keeping a proper focus. Build on fundamentals and skills needed to succeed and enjoy the game of soccer. We will also have a 3v3 tournament played in world cup format.

    Minimum of 20 participants needed.

    Outdoor stadium (weather permitting)

  • Steelband Camp

    For Coed Students Entering Grades 7-9 (limited to 19 students per session; sessions are identical)
    The Viking Steel program provides students the opportunity to learn and play the traditional instruments of Trinidad and Tobago. Participants will learn how steel pans are built and tuned, discover how steelband arrangements are written, and will craft their own sticks to play with. Students will perform a small concert at the end of the week for family and friends who wish to attend.

    For Coed Students Entering Grades 5-8
    Students will learn the basics of step, a form of percussive dance using the hands, feet, and body. They will build interpersonal skills through learning step routines. Students will perform a routine at the end of camp, as well as with the WLHS Step Team at a future event.

    For Boys and Girls Entering Grades 6-9
    This six-week program will help athletes to become stronger, faster, better jumpers and more explosive. All young people who are looking to maximize performance are encouraged to join.

    PLEASE NOTE: There is NO CAMP on Thursday, July 4.

    Boys Session

    For Coed Students Entering Grades 5-9
    Drama camp will introduce students to theater basics. We will work on stage directions, characterization and scenes. Theater games will be used to improve students’ abilities to communicate verbally and non-verbally. Drama games will increase students' concentration, problem solving skills and ability to work in groups.

  • Wrestling Camp

    For Boys and Girls Entering Grades 1-9
    Beginning wrestlers are presented with the foundation skills required of Viking wrestlers. New skills and techniques are introduced each day. Time is also spent discussing proper conditioning, nutrition, and sport-related exercise.

    June 3-6, 2024

    Boys in grades 1-4: 9:00-11:00 a.m.

    Boys in grades 5-9 & Girls in grades 1-9:
    12:30-3:00 p.m.

    Cost is $50

    Registration for Wrestling Camp is due
    by Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

    Each wrestler should come dressed to wrestle, but wearing street shoes. If you wear your wrestling shoes, expect to clean them before you go onto the mats.

    Wrestling or gym shoes, gym shorts, or wrestling singlet and a close-fitting t-shirt are appropriate wrestling dress. Headgear is not required. For safety, loose sweat clothes are NOT allowed on the mat.
