The WLHS Visual Arts Department welcomes all of our Lutheran Elementary School students to participate in our annual Wisco Creatives Art Contest!
This year, we are expanding the art contest to include all submissions into our annual WLHS Art Show.
The subject matter of your art is up to you, though we enjoy seeing biblical themes. See below for mediums you can use.
We encourage all participants to come and see their artwork on display (and the artwork of our talented high school artists!) at the Art Show, which occurs alongside our spectacular Prism music performances on May 17-19.

- Friday, May 17, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 18, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
- Sunday, May 19, from 12:00-9:00 p.m.

Examples:
This includes photography, stop motion animation, graphic design, video production, digital painting, drawing, painting, collage, woodworking, ceramics, or any preferred style of artwork.
Artwork will be judged on composition, craftsmanship and creativity.

How to Submit Artwork:
Matte all 2D artwork: 2D artwork that is on paper should be matted with a black piece of construction paper slightly larger than the artwork. Canvases, relief collages, and 3D sculptures do not need a matte.
All artwork needs this information on the back of the work:- First and last name
- Name of grade school
- Current grade
Drop off artwork: To Val Gospodarek at the WLHS receptionist window, found in the front lobby of WLHS. If you have another way to get it to WLHS (sibling, church member, teacher, etc.), you are welcome to give it to a courier who can bring it to WLHS.

Prizes
Each age group will have two students who will win best in show prizes:
1st Place: $25 gift card
2nd Place: $15 gift card
Awards will be announced on Friday, May 17 via social media and an email to the winner’s school.
