The Wisconsin Lutheran Children’s Choir (WLCC) has a long history of praising our Lord through quality literature. The choir is open to all 3-8 grade boys and girls with unchanged voices.
After registering for the Children's Choir for Semester I, children will audition for placement purposes in the choir. 2024-25 Audition Information Coming Soon! An audition sign-up will be posted in late August.
Rehearsals start in mid September, from 6:15 p.m.-7:30 p.m., in room 258.
Gretchen Schram serves on the choral faculty of WLHS, where she directs Cantorei Choir and Inspiration—a Christian Contemporary Choir. Mrs. Schram is active as a voice teacher at WLHS and in the Milwaukee area. She received her degee in K-12 Music Education from Alverno College, Milwaukee, and completed a certificate at the Voice Care Network, St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minn. Mrs. Schram has appeared as a soloist in numerous Lutheran Chorale concerts as well as the WELS National Worship Conferences. She is also active as a clinician in the area of children and youth vocal music.
We are delighted to have Valerie Floeter as accompanist for the Wisconsin Children’s Choir. Mrs. Floeter holds a Master of Church Music degree in Organ Performance from Concordia University, Mequon. She has taught private piano and organ for over 20-years and has performed with the instrumental duo In His Service. Mrs. Floeter has had piano compositions recently published by Northwestern Publishing House.
