After registering for the Children's Choir for Semester I, children will be auditioned for placement purposes in the choir.
Live auditions are on Monday, August 30, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 2, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wisconsin Lutheran High School BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Appointments are made through the Signup Genius link here.
Online auditions may also be submitted by Monday, September 6, at 5:30 p.m.

Rehearsals start Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 6:15 p.m.-7:30 p.m., in room 236.
Casey Pufahl is in his first year at Wisconsin Lutheran High School (WLHS). Prior to WLHS, Pufahl served 17 years at St. Croix Lutheran Academy (grades 6-12) in Minneapolis, Minn. At St. Croix Lutheran, Pufahl served as Registrar, Music Chairman, Instrumental Director, Lead Choral Director, ESL instructor and math instructor. Pufahl received his undergraduate degree from Martin Luther College, and Masters from Hamline University, St. Paul, Minn. At WLHS, Pufahl directs handbells, Freshmen Choir, the Wisconsin Lutheran Children’s Choir, and Music Spectrum.
Gretchen Schram serves on the choral faculty of WLHS, where she directs Cantorei Choir and Inspiration—a Christian Contemporary Choir. Mrs. Schram is active as a voice teacher at WLHS and in the Milwaukee area. She received her degee in K-12 Music Education from Alverno College, Milwaukee, and completed a certificate at the Voice Care Network, St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minn. Mrs. Schram has appeared as a soloist in numerous Lutheran Chorale concerts as well as the WELS National Worship Conferences. She is also active as a clinician in the area of children and youth vocal music.
We are delighted to have Valerie Floeter as accompanist for the Wisconsin Children’s Choir. Mrs. Floeter holds a Master of Church Music degree in Organ Performance from Concordia University, Mequon. She has taught private piano and organ for over 20-years and has performed with the instrumental duo In His Service. Mrs. Floeter has had piano compositions recently published by Northwestern Publishing House.
