Students will create a 2-D portfolio of work by engaging in an in-depth investigation guided by inquiry. They will use different materials and processes such as graphic design, photography, collage, printmaking, fashion illustration, collage, and others to narrate their ideas over the course of a year. Portfolios will include works of art and design, process documentation, and written information about the work presented; evaluation of submitted portfolios will be based on specific criteria, which include skillful synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas and sustained investigation through practice, experimentation, and revision, guided by questions.
