  • Biblical Hermeneutics & Psalms

    This course will focus on Bible reading and Biblical interpretation to deepen practical skills for understanding and applying God’s Word appropriately. Topics include seeing the “big themes” of the Bible, identifying genre, tracing the arc of the biblical narrative, and exploring the rhetorical beauty of various texts, with the emphasis being on practice, not theory. It will also include various studies in the Psalms and Wisdom Literature.

  • Christian Life & Vocation

    This course will seek to explore everything of the Christian life and vocation from new birth in Christ until eternal life in heaven. Students will gain a further grasp of their own Christian identity and explore God’s call to serve, witness, and worship. Emphasis will be on practical life applications for living and sharing your faith. The course will also include significant content about relationships, communication, love, marriage, and family as we explore how God calls us to live with and love other people.

  • Foundations of Christianity

    Foundations of Christianity is intended for international students who have completed Introduction to Christianity. Students will build on the foundation of what they already know about themselves, Jesus and the Bible by exploring the Old Testament together and search for God’s timeless truths that can make their faith in Jesus deeper, braver and stronger. Students who complete the course are placed into Life of Christ.

  • Introduction to Christianity

    This class is designed for first year international students who don’t have a lot of experience reading the Bible and who might not know Jesus and his amazing grace. The goal of this class is to introduce international students from around the world to the Savior of the world: Jesus Christ. Students will read, study, discuss, and write about the most important truths of the Bible. This course is required of first year international students with no Bible background.

  • Life of Christ

    This course is primarily a study of the life of Christ. It also briefly covers the intertestamental era and the historic background to Christ’s life on earth. The emphasis is on the identity of Christ as God’s holy Son and his work as Savior and Substitute for sinful humans.

  • Living Christianity

    This course provides a review of doctrine, a survey of church history, a discussion of problems the young Christian faces, and an overview of worship, stewardship and evangelism. This course emphasizes living your Christian faith.

  • New Testament Biblical Studies

    This course offers students an in-depth exploration of biblical texts, with a specific focus on 1 & 2 Corinthians and 1-3 John. This course delves into the literary, historical, and theological aspects of these important epistles while also providing students opportunities for critical analysis and discussion.

  • Proclaiming Christianity

    This course uses the text of the book of Acts and the thirteen epistles of St. Paul to understand the Christian faith of the early church as it became established in this world. Using the message which cataloged the life and actions of 1st Century Christians, comparisons and applications are made for the challenges facing 21st Century Christians as they seek to carry out Christ’s command to be his witnesses.

  • Revelation

    This course explores the vivid symbols, imagery, and prophetic visions in the Book of Revelation, highlighting their fulfillment in Jesus Christ, the victorious Lamb of God. Students will gain a deeper understanding of Revelation’s powerful focus on Christ so that the Holy Spirit may strengthen their faith and instill a bold mission mindset for Christian living in a challenging world during these end times.

  • The Christian Worldview & Apologetics

    This course will provide students with answers to the great questions of life by engaging with Scripture, practicing apologetic methods, and comparing and contrasting the Christian message with secular and world religious worldviews so that the student's own faith will be strengthened and so that they may witness to others in truth and love.

  • The Heritage of Our Faith

    This course focuses on the application of God’s Old Testament revelation to the hearts of teenage Christians. The basis of study is the broad sweep of Old Testament history and thought, with an emphasis on the Messianic promise. The timeless Old Testament truths are applied to the young Christian’s life.
