Hosts Needed for the Holidays

Did you know that your Wisconsin Lutheran High School is home to 40 international students in the 2018-2019 school year? Students from around the world are receiving the high-quality Christian education and care that you received as a student.

One unique opportunity you have to support Wisco is by hosting an international student over a school break. We seek loving Christian families like yours to take in our students. The next opportunity is coming up soon – Christmas break!

Here are the basics of what a Christmas break host family does:
  • Open your house to one or more international students during WISCO’s Christmas break (our Student Homes program is closed from noon on Saturday, December 22 to noon on Saturday, January 5.
  • Provide meals and a bed for your student, and count them as a member of the family to whatever degree you can
  • Include your student in the holiday experience as your family celebrates it
  • Let your light shine!

Our program provides the host family a $400 Scrip card of your choice to support you in your efforts to take care of the student and offer a nice
experience for them over the two-week period.
