ACT for ALL Juniors - February 20

Junior students are reminded that they will write the ACT on Wednesday, February 20, as a part of their school-day schedule. Juniors, please arrive promptly by 7:30 a.m. Regulations do not allow a student to be admitted to the testing rooms after the test has started. Parents, there is no cost or online registration required. This is an official ACT event. Scores from this test can be used for college applications.

Milwaukee and Wisconsin Parental Choice Program students are required to take the ACT Work Keys test on Thursday, February 21, in addition to the ACT test the day before. If you are a parental choice student, please arrive promptly at 7:30 a.m. on February 21, also.
There is an ACT preparatory session sponsored by Galin Education that is available to all junior students.  If you are interested in this Complimentary Proctored Practice ACT Exam please stop by the Guidance Office for your coupon.  There is a limit of one per student.

Testing rooms will be shared at a later date. See the guidance office resource board for links to ACT prep websites.

Test taking tips:
  • Come well rested for the test. Teenagers are recommended to get 8-10 hours of sleep a night!
  • Don't skip breakfast on your test day! Did you know you think better on a full stomach? Make sure to eat a balanced breakfast so you're ready to go.
  • Manage your time wisely! Scan through the test questions, answer the easier ones first, and come back to the questions you may be unsure of. When stuck on a question, eliminate choices you know are incorrect so you can focus on possible correct choices before selecting your answer.
