Viking Christian Leaders for the Month of March

Congratulations to Viking Christian Leaders for March, Aaron Miller ('19) and Mahysam Salim ('19). A Viking Christian Leader exemplifies the culture of Christian leadership at WLHS by applying their God-given gifts in service to others.
Aaron is a member at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Muskego, and also attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Grade School.
 
Currently a senior at Wisco, Aaron has participated on Tech Team (all four years) assisting the musical and drama productions, Math Track (all four years), as a member of NHS and Wisco Witnesses in the World attending mission trips to Bozeman, Mont., Atlanta, GA., and an international trip to Thailand.  

Aaron helps out at his church with A/V worship needs, teaching Sunday School, event staff, and will be attending their mission trip to Zambia next summer.
 
In his spare time, Aaron enjoys playing guitar, biking, tech work, and spending time with his amazing friends.
 
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Aaron plans to major in Computer Science pending admission to UCLA, USC, or Berkeley.
 
Aaron has been nominated for Viking Christian Leadership this month for his servant mindset, outstanding attitude and volunteer involvement. Aaron defines Christian leadership as helping others with Christ-like humility, for God’s glory.

Mahysam is a member at St. Jacobi Lutheran Church in Greenfield and attended St. Jacobi Lutheran Grade School.
 
Currently a senior at Wisco, Mahysam has participated in soccer (9-11), been in wrestling auxilary (all four years), student council (11-12) and is archivist on the Student Councel Executive Board this year, in NHS, worked for the Pilot newspaper (9), and is a part of Wisco Witnesses in the World attending the mission trip to Idaho last year.
 
Mahysam volunteers at SEA Literacy (tutoring for children), and Next Door Milwaukee (a volunteer reading program).
 
In her spare time, Mahysam enjoys volunteering, meeting new people and going on adventures with Kallie.
 
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Mahysam plans to attend the University of Minnesota--Twin Cities, studying to become a psychiatrist.
 
Mahysam has been nominated for Viking Christian Leadership this month for her exemplary character, servant leadership, and outstanding attitude. She defines Christian leadership as doing your very best from serving one another to personal development.
