Snowtubing Trip with American Mentors
If you can't beat the cold and snow, you might as well enjoy it!
That is exactly what our new international students and American mentor students did on March 5 with an after-school trip to Sunburst Winter Sports Park. They all bundled up in warm clothes and braved the steep hill to go snowtubing for a little over an hour.
The American Mentor Program to New International Students is one of the many important ways that WLHS helps integrate its international students within the student body and also gives American students the opportunity for a leadership role in building cross-cultural friendships.
