We are excited to have our students back in Honey Creek Hall after a restful break! For the week of spring break, 28 Wisco host families opened their homes to international students when the dormitory closed over break. During these short-term stays our students become like one of the family, and students and hosts enjoy the experience of sharing their cultures with one another.
Following the health guidelines currently in place in Wisconsin, during this break they enjoyed activities at home and in the outdoors. Hiking, visiting some of Wisconsin's lakes, cooking, eating, movies, and karaoke were just a few of the activities that they shared together. As one host put it, "My kids love playing UNO and doing puzzles with the girls!" We are sure the feeling was mutual!
