Free Breakfast and Lunch for ALL Students

WLHS, along with Taher Food Service Management Company, is excited to announce that free breakfast and lunch meals are available to every student this year thanks to funding through the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. Although meals are free, we request that all families who have been eligible for free or reduced meals should continue to fill out the free or reduced meal application as it is tied to other financial assistance programs. Students will need to take the required meal items to qualify for the free meal or pricing will apply. At breakfast, at least four food items will be offered and students must select at least three food items (hot breakfast entrees count as 2 items), one of which is 1/2 cup fruit and/or vegetable. At lunch, all five components (meat/meat alternative, grain, fruit, vegetable, and milk) will be offered and students must select at least three components, one of which is 1/2 cup fruit and/or vegetable.

Additional pricing applies for ala carte and/or additional purchases. There are two ways to add money to your student's meal account:
  • Viking Dollar drop boxes are located on the wall of the lower lobby and by the front desk. Cash or check may be deposited in envelopes using your child’s name and student ID number. All monies deposited will be picked up by 2nd hour and applied in time for lunch. Any monies deposited after that time will be deposited by lunch the next day. Cash and debit are NOT accepted in the cafeteria.
  • Monies can be deposited almost immediately through www.mymealtime.com/ . Create an account with your student’s ID number. A minimum deposit of $25 applies.
