Community of Waukesha in Our Prayers

Publicly and privately the Wisco Family is holding the citizens of Waukesha in prayer following the tragic events at their Christmas parade on November 21.

To be honest, one hardly even knows what to pray for in the face of such a heartbreaking incident. But even in such circumstances, our Triune God has us covered: “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans” (Romans 8:26).

Even as we grieve with our friends and search for the right words to share or pray, we know that a compassionate God is aware, that he knows how to bring glory to himself and work blessings through tragedy and that he can interpret our sighs and groans. We commend Waukesha to his loving care.
