Veterans Day an Honor to Serve

Veterans Day has a special place in the hearts of the Wisconsin Lutheran High School family. Once again, student council members served breakfast for service men and women followed by a chapel service and program dedicated to honoring veterans on November 11. WLHS was grateful to have U.S. Marine Sergeant Sam Floyd (graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy), owner of Operation Coffee, speak about life after military service and the importance of having a support network. Pastor Timothy Wempner from Good Shepherd's Lutheran, West Allis led worship for the service.
