Poetry & Soul

As part of Black History Month activities, students participated in Soul, Rhythm & Rhymes Night on February 21. This event, now in its second year, allows students to read either previously-written or original poetry and to freestyle. 45 students presented as well as two faculty members. To top off the night, current parent LaShanna (Mimis) Minor ('96), cooked some amazing soul food to share. Stay tuned for next year's event!
