Dress Code Reminders
We ask our parents and students to be mindful of our dress code, especially with the warmer temperatures that we are experiencing. Students who come to school in violation of the dress code will receive a detention AND they will need to fix their clothing as soon as possible that day. Specific infractions include:
- Skirts, dresses, and shorts cannot be shorter than the length of the hand when the arm is in a fully extended vertical position.
- Biker shorts/spandex shorts may NOT be worn.
- Bare mid-riffs, halter tops, and shirts that reveal cleavage or stomach cannot be worn.
- calling a parent to bring them a change of clothes provided the parent can come to school right away;
- borrowing appropriate clothing from someone at school;
- purchasing a school-issued shirt for $5 or school-issued shorts for $8. The cost is payable that day or will be billed to the student’s account.
