Welcome Mrs. Emmalie Bitter

Mrs. Bitter also has a previous connection to WLHS, having student-taught here prior to her 2021 graduation from Martin Luther College where she earned a bachelor degree in Life Science Education. After graduation, Mrs. Bitter served as a tutor at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, Wis. Most recently, she and her husband, seminarian Benjamin Bitter (’15), spent his vicar year in New York City. We are grateful to welcome Mrs. Bitter back as one of our biology teachers for the 2023-24 school year. The Bitters are members at St. Peter on Milwaukee’s south side. She enjoys sharing her love of science with her students and spends a lot of time in her classroom preparing in the company of her bearded dragon, but she also enjoys hiking, running, and reading in her free time.
