Wisco spring sports had successful seasons and notable accomplishments.
Boys Golf - The boys golf team captured conference champions, an achievement that hasn't been won since 2011. Ethan Herrmann ('25) was named Woodland West Conference Player of the Year back-to-back years.
Girls Soccer - The girls soccer team finished the season with a 10-7-1 record. They ended their season with a loss to New Berlin Eisenhower High School in the WIAA Regional Final.
Boys Baseball - The boys baseball team finished the season with a 17-8 record. The took home second place in the conference and ended their season with a loss to Brookfield Central High School in the WIAA Regional Final.
Girls Softball - The varsity girls softball team was undefeated conference champions, taking home the conference championship four years in a row. The team won the WIAA Regional Final, but lost in the WIAA Sectional Final. Sydney Vitangcol ('25) was named the Woodland West Conference Player of the Year (fourth year in a row), achieved 1,000 career strikeouts, and holds the State record for no-hitters with a career nine shutouts. Coach Andrew Flegel was named Woodland Coach of the Year for Softball.
Girls Track - The girls track team took home first in both regional and sectional meets. Coach Jason Goede was named Co-Woodland West Conference Coach of the Year for Track and Field. Annabelle Coudron ('25) was also awarded Co-Woodland West Athlete of the Year. At State, the girls took home eight podium finishes. Click here for a full recap of the season.
Boys Track - The boys track team again captured the Conference Triple Crown, winning the Indoor, Relay, and Outdoor Championships for the third year in a row. Brian Gottschalk and Eric Lueck were named Woodland Conference Coaches of the Year for Track and Field. Mikiah Hopf ('25) was named Woodland West Athlete of the Year. At State, Niyer Clayborn ('27) won the State Championship in the 110m High Hurdles, and in a preliminary round broke the State record for fastest time running that event.
