Viking Marching Band Sweeps the Competition
The Viking Marching Band was in action this past weekend with competitions at Cudahy and Fort Atkinson. The band earned first place at both competitions and also earned some special recognition on Saturday night bringing home additional awards for Best Musical Presentation, Best Visual Presentation, and Best Color Guard for bands in Class A and Double A. In addition, the band earned the highest visual performance score of the night, scoring higher than each of the 9 other bands. The band wraps up their competitive season Saturday, October 15, at 3:00 p.m. at UW-Whitewater for the State Marching Band Championships.
