Viking-2-Viking: Careers in Writing

The WLHS Young Alumni Leaders Council (YALC) regularly sponsors Viking-2-Viking events with our current students. Alumni return to tell juniors and seniors about their careers, answer questions and give encouragement. On October 3, content writing was the field of interest. Our students heard from Emily (Rasmussen) Krause (’06), a family travel content creator, and Tom Meitner (’03), a freelance copywriter and writing coach. Viking-2-Viking presentations are also supported by our Student Services Department as part of their college and career counseling.
