Fashion Club Donates No-Sew Blankets

Students in fashion club spent an afternoon creating no-sew blankets. The blankets will be donated to Kids Matter, Inc an organization that assists children in the foster care program. The idea for this project came from fashion club president Hilary Ramirez ('24), who has a special connection to this mission. "I'm an adopted child. I suggested this organization because I feel close to it," she says. Hilary is working with Kids Matter coordinator Jim Hahm who will make sure the blankets are distributed to families for whom this project is intended. A warm, cozy end for this project.
