International Education Week Was a Global Sensation

November 13-17, Wisco celebrated International Education Week with exciting activities celebrating cultures from around the world:
  • Art club created an international-themed bulletin board.
  • There were new international trivia questions each day in the morning announcements offering students a chance to win a prize.
  • International students were involved with chapel each day sharing their culture and language through words and music.
  • Students hosted a world language table to teach others words and phrases in their native tongue.
  • International dress-up day allowed students to represent their country's heritage in traditional clothing.
  • Honey Creek Hall hosted a foreign film viewing of Life is Beautiful and Howl's Moving Castle.
The International Fair on November 20 was a culmination to the week's celebration. More than 20 different countries were represented with displays, music, and delicious food. Proceeds from the event help fund our WLHS student mission trips.

We thank God for the opportunity to share the wonderful things that take place at Wisco as we are guided by the Great Commission, and rooted in God's Word, to prepare our young adults for productive, Christ-centered lives in a diverse world.
