Vikings top Shoreland in Home Opener
The Wisco soccer team beat both the heat and the visitors from Shoreland Lutheran on Saturday, topping the Pacers 3-1 at WLHS.
Giarley Gonzalez assisted on all three Viking goals. He set up Zach Adams for the game's opening score in the 8th minute. After Shoreland netted an equalizer nine minutes later, Gonzalez assisted Daniel Fasasi to put Wisco back on top. He and Adams connected again shortly before halftime to make it 3-1 Vikings and cap the scoring.
The team hosts Pius XI on Monday, August 30, at 6:30 PM.
