Students from Honey Creek Hall enjoyed an exciting outing to see the Milwaukee Bucks basketball in action on March 15, where our hometown team secured a victory over the Indiana Pacers.
This annual experience is a highlight of the Wisconsin Lutheran High School Residential Program, giving students—many of whom come from around the world—the opportunity to experience American sports culture firsthand while cheering on a local professional team.
Following the game, students were treated to a truly memorable moment: stepping onto the court themselves. Each participant had the chance to shoot a free throw on the same floor as the players—an unforgettable experience that made the event even more special.
Events like this are just one of the many ways the WLHS Residential Program students build community, explore Milwaukee, and create lasting memories during their time in the USA.
