Crown of Life for Wisco Staff Member, Kathy Kargus
On Thursday, April 5, the Wisco family lost a valuable member when the Lord called home Mrs. Kathy Kargus.
For over 20 years, Mrs. Kargus served thousands of students and staff faithfully in a variety of support roles. Support staff is, in many ways, the glue that holds an operation together, and we are grateful for the years of service Kathy gave to the high school. Mrs. Kathy Kargus was faithful to the end and has been a model to many. Her Christian victory service was held on Saturday, April 14, at Grace Lutheran Church, Milwaukee.

"Words cannot express the hole in our hearts and lives that the loss of our mother has created. The outpouring of love, well wishes, sympathy and words of encouragement from the entire Wisconsin Lutheran High School family these past few weeks has been nothing short of unbelievably amazing. While there is no doubt in anyone’s minds about how much she loved her children, and especially grandchildren, she also loved her Wisco family enormously and unconditionally. She lived her life to serve others and found such joy when she was able to make someone’s life the smallest bit easier for even a split second.
From the bottom of our hearts we want to express our thanks and appreciation to everyone from the Wisco family that has reached out to us via text, email, phone or simply commenting on this page to express their thoughts and prayers for us during this time."
