Woods Class Takes a Swing with Homemade Baseball Bats

Students took a few swings in the batting cage with baseball bats they made on the Wisco lathe, a machine that shapes wood, metal, or other material by means of a rotating drive that turns the piece being worked on against changeable cutting tools.

The baseball bats were one of the final projects in Woods 3 with teacher Mr. Joel Radue. Batter up!
