2018-2019 School Theme - Christ's Love Compels Me
The WLHS 2018-19 school year will open under the theme, “Christ’s love compels me,“ taken from II Corinthians 5:14-15.
Jesus Christ’s own love for us compelled him to leave heaven and endure scorn and death to save us from our sins. Now that love claims us through faith in him. It is a force like no other in the way it compels us to place Jesus at the center of our lives and others ahead of self. Christ’s love makes us new.
Join us in praying that Christ’s love for sinners will always be the defining characteristic of our school based ministry and the compelling reason for us to strive toward the highest standards. This year, like the 114 before it in the WLHS history, will be one full of blessings. God’s great love will see to that.
