Math Enrichment Lab

Math Enrichment Lab is a math elective at Wisco that offers individualized and data driven instruction to students using MAPS testing and IXL. This course has a dual purpose of supporting a student's current math course and then offering differentiated instruction based on specific learning targets. In the first 6 weeks of using IXL, our students have mastered 2,256 math skills and become proficient in an additional 2,691 math skills. Students in math lab have spent a total of 726 hours working on over 117,480 math problems. Math lab instructor, Mrs. Luebke says, "Math lab is a great course for any student who wants to improve his/her math skills. When math instruction and practice is targeted on individual needs students are successful and make significant progress. One student has made 8 months of math growth by using IXL and focusing his practice on his specific weaknesses. I am excited for the changes to math enrichment lab and am looking forward to seeing a whole lot of growth this year!"
