Central Walks Off With Game 1 Victory
West Allis Central scored twice in the bottom of the 5th to walk off with a 4-3 win over Wisco in the first game of a softball doubleheader on Thursday.

The Vikings jumped out to an early 2-0 lead behind RBI singles from Alyssa Kieselhorst and Kimmie Wandschneider in the top of the 1st. After Central knotted things up in the 3rd, Wisco responded with a single by Leah Pinnow, a sac bunt from Maggie Johnston, and an RBI single to left by Emily Buch to go back in front 3-2.
But the lead did not hold. The Bulldogs sandwiched two singles around a walk to tie the game at three apiece and put runners on first and second with nobody out. A double steal moved two women into scoring position and set up the winning run, which scored on a dropped third strike.
Wandschneider went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the offense. Melissa Tonn took the loss but struck out five in 4.1 innings.
