Softball Falls to Lady Popes
An early outburst by Pius XI was too much for the Wisco softball team to overcome, as they dropped an 11-8 decision to the Lady Popes on Tuesday at Rainbow Park.

Pius jumped on Wisco early, scoring four runs in the top of the 1st inning. The Vikings battled back to tie the game thanks to RBIs from Kimmie Wandschneider, Melissa Tonn, and Julia Treichel. But Pius added four more runs in the top of the 2nd to take the lead for good.
The Wisco offense pounded out 11 hits on the day. Treichel, Tonn, and Wandschnedier provided two apiece, along with Alyssa Kieselhorst and Reagan Derouin. Treichel paced the team with three RBIs in the loss.
