Biology teacher Mr. Jason Nickels spent a week this summer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan at Ottawa National Park studying turtles. "The hikes were long, hot, and humid but worth the work. Few people get to visit rivers, forests, and fields that are untouched by humans. In fact, I might be the only human those turtles will ever see. I couldn't help but think about the complexity and beauty of God's creation in its unspoiled state," says Mr. Nickels.
