Hiking Vikings Inaugural Event

This fall "Hiking Vikings" has begun as a new initiative at Honey Creek Hall. Once a month interested students can attend a hiking excursion around the greater Milwaukee area. The first event took place on Saturday, September 26. Students explored the beautiful Cudahy Nature Preserve about 25 minutes from campus. The benefits of the hike included exercise, the refreshing air, experience exploring nature and time away from indoors and technology, and the opportunity to build friendships in a safe outdoor setting. The hiking destination will change each month so students get to explore new scenery throughout the year.
