Football Falls to Lions

The Wisco football team lost on the road Friday to New Berlin Eisenhower, 45-12, in what was officially a non-conference game due to Covid conference changes.

The Lions took advantage of two big plays - a 46-yard touchdown run and a 34-yard interception return - to help them jump out to a 21-0 lead. The Vikings got on the board with a touchdown run by Jeremiah Hampton, but the hosts scored the next ten points to end hopes of a comeback. Bryce Pagel found Sam Oertel in the end zone late in the third quarter for the team's other score.

The Vikings travel to Kaukauna on Friday, October 16.
