A tight game marked the start of 2021 for the Wisco girls basketball team, but in the end, visiting Menomonee Falls escaped with a 50-48 win on Saturday night.
Falls overcame a halftime deficit to take the lead in the second half. Sydney Mueller connected on a three-pointer with about 20 seconds left to put the Lady Vikings on top, but the Phoenix made some free throws down the stretch to give them the victory.
