March is Women's History Month

To inspire her students and to celebrate Women's History Month, Fashion Tech and Design teacher Mrs. Patti Wenzel created a collage of pioneer women throughout the world. She searched for women in art, sports, and STEM to name a few. "Many people have heard of Simone Biles, but it was actually the efforts of Althea Gibson that paved the way for women to play in sports," Wenzel says. Both Biles and Gibson are highlighted in the collage. While students who walk the FACE hallway have easy access to this collage, all students are encouraged to check out room 185.
