Updated Milwaukee Health Department Guidelines
City of Milwaukee Health Department's goal is to stay consistent with the CDC guidance for K-12 schools. Recent updates to schools with approved plans from the Health Department include:
- In person COVID-19 symptom screening is no longer required—no more temperature checks
- Water fountains are allowed to be reopened and used for normal use
These changes go into effect Wednesday, May 5. WLHS will continue to follow our submitted safety plan which includes wearing masks and modified social distancing.
