Pewaukee Tops Vikings in Extras
The Wisco baseball team pushed Pewaukee to extra frames on Wednesday night, but fell to the Pirates, 7-4 in 8 innings.
Pewaukee grabbed a 4-2 lead in the top of the 5th inning before the Vikings struck back in the bottom half to tie the game. Three runs in the top of the 8th gave the visitors the lead in extra innings, and Wisco was unable to answer.
Mason Ruh enjoyed a fine outing despite the loss, striking out 13 in six innings on the mound. Tyler Danko picked up a pair of hits and Logan Abramowski drove in three runs at the plate.
The Vikings travel to Pewaukee on May 6. Game time is 4:45 PM at WCTC.
