Blessing for New Flags
On Tuesday, September 14, Gabriel Tonade (’23) carried his country’s flag (Great Britain) and Karolina Sitarska ('22) carried her country's flag (Poland) to our annual blessing of the flag ceremony during chapel. Gabriel and Karolina are the first students from Great Britain and Poland respectively to attend Wisco. WLHS Conference President, Rev. Dr. Ken Fisher, blessed the flags.
We now have 43 flags hanging in our atrium. These flags represent the countries of origin from our past and present student body. They remind us that we are a Great Commission school. Welcome, Gabriel and Karolina.
