Volleyball Wins Regional Title
The Wisco volleyball team added a regional title to its collection on Saturday night, dispatching visiting Waukesha North in three sets to claim the victory.
The second-seeded Vikings, the Woodland Conference champions in both dual and tournament play, won the first set 25-12 and the final two sets with identical scores of 25-19.
Hannah Trotter paced the team with 25 assists and six aces, Kayla Wigley had 12 kills, and Kati Goba came up with 13 digs.
The win sends the team to the sectional semifinals, where they will face third-seeded Mukwonago. They will square off on Thursday, October 28 at West Allis Central. Match time is set for 7:00 PM.
