Volleyball One Win Away From State
The Viking volleyball team swept through Mukwonago in Thursday's sectional semifinal, taking out the Indians in three sets at West Allis Central.
Wisco won a tight first set by a score of 25-22 before cruising to victory in the second set, 25-13. The third and final set was closely contested, but the Vikings prevailed by a score of 26-24.
The win sends the team to the sectional finals, where they will face Kettle Moraine for the right to advance to the state quarterfinals in Green Bay. The match will be played at Waukesha West on Saturday, October 30, and is set to start at 7:00 PM.
