Volleyball Comes up Just Short in Sectional Final
The girls volleyball team fought through four tightly contested sets, but could not overcome eighth-ranked Kettle Moraine, falling to the Lasers in the sectional final 23-25, 25-23, 23-25, 22-25.
Seniors Grace Schneider and Kayla Wigley led the team in their final match as Vikings. They each registered a team-high 12 kills. Hannah Trotter added 36 assists and an ace, Kati Goba had 31 digs, and Wigley and Annie Schultz posted two total blocks apiece.
The team ends the season with a record of 34-14. The Vikings have been sectional finalists in three of the past four seasons.
