The Show Must Go On

On Friday, October 14, WLHS welcomed over 400 grade school students to Zeitler Stadium for our annual grade school marching band concert. The theme of the concert was The Show Must Go On. This year marching band had to contend with limited practice space due to the construction of our new field. Rather than give up on the season, the marching band, under the direction of Mr. Quinten Petersen, prepared four unique performances for each home game of the season. Without a space to practice marching, they performed popular tunes in a stand-still, show band style. Their willingness to adapt proved that The Show Must Go On.
